We came here on a Friday evening. Service was friendly, fast and the food was delicious. We are so glad there is a place in the village that serves Mediterranean food. The falafel plate was so tasty and we enjoyed sitting at the open seating area with a fresh breeze. Looking forward to coming back!
Absolutely the tastiest Red Lentil Soup, fresh made bread, chicken kabob, salad, hummus, and rice. Price is very reasonable . Especially foe the quality of food. Layla is one of the chefs and you can taste the quality and care she puts into the meals. Make sure.you arrive hungry because the portiins are very large. Can't say enough about the service, quality of food and Layla's personal touches to the food.
Where do I start? I came down from San Jose and was looking for a small business to eat in Carlsbad, I came upon Village Kabob and it is just adorable. I said, why not?I popped in and was immediately given the most amazing pita, hummus and tziki. Kristin was working pehind the counter and is so engaging. It's really incredible to meet truly passionate people in the service industry. She chatted with me for a while. I ordered the fries with beef shwarma. It's the most incredible thing Ive eaten in a long time. Like carne asada fries but Mediterranean style. Really, really good. Then came the baklava. Was done in. My piggest question for anyone living or working near the restaurant is how do you not stop and eat that every single day? That baklava is beyond.
Great foods, great service, I will come back when I am in the area next. The fresh pita is spectacular, the beef kebab and hummus were also great. Highly recommended.
Best Mediterranean food in north county! The shawarma is out of this world! Salmon and chicken kabobs were cooked perfectly! The hummus and pita are the best I have ever had! Beautiful restaurant and great service!
